Terms of use
By installing or using Veringo (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Veringo is
Veringo is a free caller ID and phone application that provides calling, contacts, messaging, community spam protection, and optional contact contribution to a global caller directory.
Your responsibilities
- You must comply with applicable laws when using the app and placing calls or sending messages.
- You are responsible for permissions you grant (phone, contacts, SMS, notifications, and related access).
- You must not use the app to harass, spam, or impersonate others.
- You must not submit false caller names or abusive spam reports.
Community data
When you contribute caller names or spam reports, that information may be used to help other Veringo users identify callers. Contact sharing is optional and off by default. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Third-party services
The app may integrate with device services (contacts, call log, SMS), Google sign-in, and optional third-party caller lookup sources. Those services have their own terms and policies.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” without warranty. Caller identification and spam protection depend on community contributions and may not be accurate or complete. We do not guarantee that all spam or unwanted calls will be blocked.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
